WILDLIFE CONSERVATION

This aims to provide volunteers with the wonderful opportunity of experiencing African wilderness while contributing to conservation

Roles

-Helping to remove not indigenous plants near the Park that can affect the natural balance of the flora in the parks

-Collecting tracking and birds’ picture to implement the inventory of the area.

-Participating in reforestation in the area

– De-snaring is removing wire snares or traps that poachers set across animal tracks to capture and kill wildlife.

-Guiding and giving talks to tourists.

-Research on human and wildlife conflict.- The wildlife  especially the elephants do cross over to the neighbouring community farms and the outcome is  massive destruction thus creating hostility towards wildlife.
